The FOX PRO uses a standard 5-pin M12 aviation connector, compatible with most major brands, including G*allagher and T*ru-Test, requiring no calibration. If you have an older load bar with a different connector type, contact us with your model number and we will confirm compatibility before shipment.

4. How many animal records can the FOX PRO store?

FOX PRO stores up to 3,000 individual weight records. For a herd of 500 cattle weighed weekly, this is over 2 years of data without needing to export. Records include animal ID (EID), weight, date, group number, and previous weight for comparison.

5. How do I export data from FOX PRO?

There are three ways: (1) USB: insert directly and export as an Excel-readable CSV file. (2) Bluetooth: Pair with mobile phone/tablet. (3) RS232: Connect to the farm computer or printer. USB is the simplest and recommended method for most users.

6. Does FOX PRO work with NLIS tags in Australia?

The FOX PRO works with the HiTAG EID stick card reader, which can read HDX and FDX-B protocols (ISO 11784/11785). All Australian NLIS-certified cattle ear tags use the HDX protocol. Weight and EID data will be stored together and exported in CSV format for uploading to the NLIS database.
